- CORNICE
MEASURING GUIDE

- We hope the following provides
you with the necessary measuring information needed for ordering
your custom made-to-order window cornice. Most cornice patterns
can be enlarged or reduced in width to fit your window; however,
we ask that you check with us to be sure the pattern you choose
can be adjusted to properly fit your window. Please give us exact
measurements, rounded up to the nearest 1/8". We will make
any adjustments necessary for your cornice to clear draperies
or blinds.

- When measuring make sure
you always use a metal tape, yardstick, or other non-flexible
measuring device.

- Window Casing Mount
Window cornices can only be mounted on the casing if the casing
is flat. If your casing has an applied molding, you must mount
the cornice outside the casing. Measure the width of the window
from outside edge of casing to outside edge of casing.

- Over Venetian Blind or Shade
Measure the width of the head rail as well as the width of the
window casing. We will use the larger of the measurements to
determine the width of the cornice.

- Over Draperies
Measure the outside dimension from the left side of drapery to
the right side of drapery.
